#ARC #Review: Too Wild to Tame by Tessa Bailey

HOLY FREAKING CRAP. Tessa, I bow down to you--like boobs to the floor bow down. The Clarkson family series is so AMAZING! The romance between Aaron and Grace is smokin' hot and magical. I simply cannot get enough of these characters!

Too Wild to Tame is a read that will appeal to lovers of opposites attract. Aaron is an intense control freak that tends to throw morality out the window for the sake of advancing his political career. Grace is sweet, innocent, and always looking to do good for others despite the struggles she faced in the past. When they meet, the instant attraction they feel is a staggering surprise, which means the sexual chemistry is off-the-charts explosive from the start. It gets hotter and hotter as the story progresses.

But like the first book in the series (Too Hot to Handle), Too Wild to Tame is not all about the hanky panky and dirty talk. It's a story with depth and emotion. A story about two individuals looking to find themselves, and they do that by looking towards one another. They do that by challenging each other to do better and be better. To acknowledge their strength instead of letting others pretend that they don't have any.

Aaron and Grace's relationship is built on respect and passion. I truly fell in love with them, and as Grace would say, my reading of Too Wild to Tame was a moment. A perfectly magical moment, that no matter how small, will always be better than any big moment I can create. The little moments that are the Clarkson stories are the moments that will stick with me for a long time to come.

I am so happy to be able to follow the Clarkson family stories. They're a really special family because they're realistic where it counts. Their love is messy and not always obvious, but it's there--under all the punches and silence. I can't wait to read about the cheerleader and the coach next!

Sometimes you just can't resist playing with fire…

By day, Aaron Clarkson suits up, shakes hands, and acts the perfect gentleman. But at night, behind bedroom doors, the tie comes off and the real Aaron comes out to play. Mixing business with pleasure got him fired, so Aaron knows that if he wants to work for the country's most powerful senator, he'll have to keep his eye on the prize. That's easier said than done when he meets the senator's daughter, who's wild, gorgeous, and 100 percent trouble.

Grace Pendleton is the black sheep of her conservative family. Yet while Aaron's presence reminds her of a past she'd rather forget, something in his eyes keeps drawing her in. Maybe it's the way his voice turns her molten. Or maybe it's because deep down inside, the ultra-smooth, polished Aaron Clarkson might be more than even Grace can handle…

Tessa Bailey is originally from Carlsbad, California. The day after high school graduation, she packed her yearbook, ripped jeans, and laptop, and drove cross-country to New York City in under four days. Her most valuable life experiences were learned thereafter while waitressing at K-Dees, a Manhattan pub owned by her uncle. Inside those four walls, she met her husband, best friend, and discovered the magic of classic rock, managing to put herself through Kingsborough Community College and the English program at Pace University at the same time. Several stunted attempts to enter the work force as a journalist followed, but romance writing continued to demand her attention.

She now lives in Long Island, New York with her husband and daughter. Although she is severely sleep-deprived, she is incredibly happy to be living her dream of writing about people falling in love.
